Gregory Taylor - Electronic Musician, Radio Host

I met Greg Taylor in the summer between 6th and 7th grades. I walked into a slot car joint and there was this kid in the very back with a tool kit and a slot car in pieces. That scene was indicative of his insatiable curiosity. Greg has that peculiar trait of all great artists; he is always asking, "What if . . . ". Greg is a composer and creator of electronic music, some of which he creates on the device in the painting. I can't begin to explain how it's done, and when asked, Greg will speak haltingly and maybe incompletely - not because he doesn't understand - but because it's likely none of the rest of us will. Taylor hosts a weekly radio show of ambient, experimental and electronic music on public radio, WORT-FM, in Madison, WI - has since 1986. He has recorded over ten albums of original music, his latest effort "Divagate" and the rest can be listened to at Spotify.
